Wellen Park is the master-planned community on the south side of Venice, built on what used to be ranch land and now home to neighborhoods like Gran Paradiso, IslandWalk, Grand Palm, Wellen Park Golf & Country Club, Solstice, Brightmore, Everly and more. At its center is Downtown Wellen, a walkable lakefront main street with shops, restaurants, a splash pad, live music and community events most weeks of the year. CoolToday Park, the spring training home of the Atlanta Braves, sits just up the road, and Wellen Park High School opened in 2026.
